The laboratories in the department are well equipped and the department offers testing and consultancy services to Government and Non-Government organizations. All the tests and consultancy are done as per the relevant IS codes by trained faculty members. The following are the services offered by the department.
1. Testing of Construction Materials in the lab and on-site
2. A geotechnical investigation like the determination of soil properties, bearing capacity of soil required for the design of foundations, etc.
3. Consultancy work like the structural design of RCC and Steel structures by competent faculty members.
